NHK SPRING (THAILAND) organized an annual Songkran Festival (Traditional Thai New Year) 2012 as inheriting the tradition

   On previous April 11, 2012, NHK SPRING (THAILAND) organized the annual Songkran Festival, an event to celebrate the Thai New Year and to inherit this great Thai traditional to remain forever.
   All company executives and staffs of T-NHK altogether made a merit by giving food offerings to a Buddhist monk, sprinkling water on Buddha image and pouring the water on the hands of both Thai and Japanese elderly executives and ask for blessing.
   This activity was held on the last day of working before Songkran's long holidays to bring good luck and bless all staffs to be safe from the journey for visiting relatives or even the parties of Songkran festival.
