Inauguration Ceremony of the NHK Co-Operation Club (NCC)
NHK Spring (Thailand) Co., Ltd., under the leadership of President Hajime Okajima, honored by presiding over the
inauguration ceremony of the "NHK Co-Operation Club" (NCC) on May 14, 2024, at Training Village, Ban Pho. The event was
attended by senior executives from NHK and representatives from 48 supplier companies. NHK initiated the establishment of NCC with the objective of enhancing the capabilities of NHK's suppliers, strengthening their production efficiency, quality, safety, and environmental practices.
This will be achieved through the transfer of NHK’s knowledge to its parts manufacturers by making full use of the Training Village
and preparing to align with NHK Group’s carbon neutrality policy. NCC will undertake activities aligned with these objectives and
will operate in compliance with antitrust laws. The main activities of NCC this year include:
1. Supplier Innovation Sustainable (SIS): This initiative introduces the principles of the Toyota Production System
(TPS), such as Just in Time and Jidoka, to improve production efficiency.
2. Carbon Neutral for Suppliers (CNs): This program supports NHK Group's Carbon Neutral policy and encourages
suppliers to assess their organizational carbon footprint (CFO).
3. Training & Education (Dojo): This activity allows suppliers to send personnel to learn at NHK’s Dojo and apply the
acquired knowledge to develop their own companies further. Strengthening the supply chain amidst intense cost competition
will enable both NHK and its suppliers to grow together sustainably in the future.
