NHK SPRING (THAILAND) and its suppliers collaborate in safety activities

     The Safety, Health & Environment is the significant company's policy of NHK SPRING (THAILAND). The company has been continuously implemented safety activities, aiming not only to improve safety for its employees, but also the stakeholders including suppliers.
     In order to achieve this, on February 26, 2010 NHK SPRING (THAILAND) held the meeting with its suppliers at its Training Center. In the meeting, the company's representatives; Mr. Yoshihiko Sakamoto, Senior Vice President, gave an opening speech. Together with Mr.Siripol Aiemcharoen, Senior Director of Purchasing, stated the company's purchasing policy. And Mr. Supachai Smitthakorn, Department Manager of Safety Health & Environment Department, informed the suppliers about its safety policy, safety management standards, and CCCF Safety Activity (or finding harmful spots in the workplace).
     Accordingly, the company asked the suppliers' cooperation in implementing safety activities in their workplaces. For the efficient outcome, the suppliers will conduct safety activities under two objectives. First, fatal accident must be zero. Second, reduce 50% of 2009 accidents causing temporary disability in this year.
     The company hoped this corporation of all sections in practicing safety activities will help preventing and reducing accidents in the workplace.
