President Kaoru Hatayama, together with Mr. Yoshihiko Sakamoto, and Mr. Masayuki Horie, traveled to visit the following in the Royal Footsteps of His Majesty the King Project in Sam Muene Mountain, Chiang Dao, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Province, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province.
On previous February 9, 2012, President Kaoru Hatayama, together with Mr. Yoshihiko Sakamoto, and Mr. Masayuki Horie, traveled to visit the following in the Royal Footsteps of His Majesty the King Project in Sam Muene Mountain, Chiang Dao, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Province, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province.
Sam Muene Mountain Project was held by NHK SPRING (THAILAND) to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 7th Cycle, 84th Birthday Anniversary in 2011. NHK SPRING (THAILAND) has financially supported the reconstruction of the Royal Pavilion and the development of water resource for agriculture by providing the water supply pipeline to the agricultural areas and rice fields in Sam Muene Noi Mountain which is by following Royal Thought.
Sam Muene Mountain Project was conducted by the cooperation of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under the patronage of His Majesty the King and the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University. During a day visit, Mr. Samart Sumanojitraporn, and Mr. Tawan Treesat took the visitors to visit the Royal Pavilion and landscape, included the three water storage tanks contain 150 cu.m., and four water storage tanks contain 40 cu.m.. President Kaoru Hatayama paid a lot of attention to the water storage system that it installed the water pipeline to transport water from small dam for consumption and agriculture. Besides, President Kaoru Hatayama also provided snacks to children in Child Care Center, Sam Muene Mountain village.
