Awarded scholarship to undergraduate students in 2014
On June 7, 2013, at Conference room, Wellgrow Plant, Mr.Masayuki Horie, Vice president of Corporate Administration and Purchase Division was the chairman of scholarship award \s ceremony, giving for undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, who earn good grade but having poor condition. This activity has started since 2009 and this year, there are 90 students chosen from public universities throughout Thailand. After, the ceremony finished, NHK Spring (Thailand) gave opportunity to the students to visit production process at Wellgrow Plant, Ban Pho Plant, and the training center. This activity which has been operated continuously is one of the company policies to support and promote Thai education.
Scholarships to College Students for Their Future Opportunity
NHK SPRING (THAILAND) considers the education of young people as significant. So, we decided to support college students. Yoshinori Omori, the chairman of the company gave scholarships to the college students from Udon Thani, a province in the North East Thailand, at our Wellgrow plant in February, 2007. In March 2007, our chairman went to Nong Khai Technical College in the North East Thailand to give scholarships to students there.
Therefore, the students have an opportunity to further their education towards a better life in the future. This is yet another valuable social contribution activity where we are willing to support Thai society.

Helping people affected by disaster
TAKING IMMEDIATE ACTION AFTER DISASTERS
NHK SPRING (THAILAND) has given support urgently when disasters occurred both domestically and outside the country. We have donated money to foundations for helping the victims of disasters. We'd like to express our compassion for those people who were affected in order to rebuild their lives.
The disasters in which we have helped the people who were affected include:
- The trunami in southern Thailand in 2005
- The floods in the northeast and south of Thailand in 2010
- The earthquake in Japan in 2011
- The floods in southern Thailand in 2011
- The floods in the central part of Thailand in November 2011
