Reforestation Project at Khao Ang Rue Nai Wildlife Sanctuary in Chanthaburi
To promote a sustainable society is today's global agenda. NHK SPRING (THAILAND) is engaged in nature conservation projects. We have supported the reforestation of 1,000 rai at Khao Ang Rue Nai Wildlife Sanctuary in Chanthaburi on the border of Cambodia since 2007. The project does not only aim to revive the ruined forests, but also to celebrate His Majesty the King's 80th birthday anniversary on December 5, 2007.
We will support the budget of this nature conservation project for six years until 2012. At the launching ceremony of the project, the chairman, the president, and executives together with local young people, planted trees in the forest area. We look forward to seeing abundant forests throughout Thailand.
